Admit You Are a Sinner

Romans 3:10 - "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

Realize Jesus Paid for Your Sin at Calvary

Romans 5:8 - "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Realize that the Payment for Sin is Death

Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Payment for sin is eternal damnation in the lake of fire. However, you can have eternal life with God in Heaven by excepting the finished work of Jesus on Calvary.

Believe that Jesus Rose from the Dead

Romans 10:9 - "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Ask Jesus Into Your Heart

Romans 10:13 - "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." As best as you can, by faith invite Jesus into your heart, and ask him to forgive you of your sins today.

Baptism - The first step of obedience after salvation

Acts 8:37-38 - "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest . And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still; and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him." Baptism is an outward expression showing your faith, and acceptance in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
